In this webinar, we continue our focus on lived experience and inclusive volunteering. Guest speakers from MIEACT will discussed how lived experience sits at the heart of how they operate, and how they have supported this in their volunteering program and beyond.
This webinar is part of our series designed to support the National Strategy's aims of hosting forums to enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing around inclusive volunteering (Action Item 5).

Amy Warner

Amy Warner is a Program Facilitator at Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT), where she recruits, trains and supports Volunteer Educators to share their lived experience safely and meaningfully. Having first connected with MIEACT during her own recovery journey before becoming a Volunteer Educator herself, Amy is passionate about reducing stigma, promoting safer storytelling practices, and creating opportunities for lived experience voices to inspire connection, understanding and hope.
