Mental Work Podcast's 200th Episode Celebration - LIVE Recording!
Description
To celebrate 200 episodes of the Mental Work podcast, Bron is joined by special guest Matthew Jackson for our very first live podcast recording, and you’re invited!
Mental Work is the podcast for psychologists about the realities of working in mental health from an early-career perspective.
For this milestone episode, we’re returning to a question that has been there since the beginning: "How do you actually build a sustainable career in mental health?"
In this live recording, we’ll have our usual honest, down-to-earth conversation as we explore:
• What has worked, and what hasn’t worked in building a career in mental health
• The moments we’ve each considered leaving the profession, and what kept us here
• What seems to make this work more sustainable, and what gets in the way
This is an interactive session, with opportunities to share your reflections in the chat throughout the recording. We’ll finish with a live Q&A where you can ask questions about the topic and the podcast.
Whether you’ve been listening for years or are completely new, if you’re trying to work out how to make a career in mental health feel more doable, this is a chance to be part of a thoughtful conversation.
This is a one-off, ticketed online event hosted via Zoom. The session will run for 60 minutes (45 minutes episode, 15 minutes Q&A). Tickets are $12 via Humantix.
If you cannot attend live, you can listen to the recording when it is released on the podcast feed on 18 June 2026. No refunds on ticket purchases are available.
