Virtual mentor session with Kate Kirwin, Founder of She Codes

Welcome to our virtual event on mentoring!

About us:

Our goal at She Codes is to create an inclusive community in tech, inspire women to code and empower women to pursue careers in technology. We do this through programs, workshops, events and a Slack community. Critical to the success of our events is our mentoring community, who can provide guidance and support throughout their career journey - from code problems to preparing for technical interviews and everything in between.

During this event, we will hear from several people about their experience mentoring at She Codes. We will learn what inspired them to become mentors, what their mentoring relationship looks like, and how they have seen their mentees grow and succeed in their careers. 

Our panel will include current and former mentors from She Codes, as well as some of the women they have mentored. They will share their stories and insights into the impact that mentoring can have on someone's career and personal growth. Whether you are a seasoned professional in tech or just starting out, there are opportunities to make a difference in someone's life by becoming a mentor. 

This event is ideal for those who are interested in becoming a mentor (with us, or similar organisations) now or in the future, and those are keen to learn from their peers in industry. We hope to see you there!
