Menzies Candidate Forum
Event description
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE...
At this election, we need to think seriously about climate change and our future. Everyone’s vote matters.
Find out where the candidates stand on climate and renewable powered electric homes for all.
The forum aims to give voters in Menzies a chance to better understand how each candidate would represent them if they were elected.
Come along to hear from the candidates and ask them questions on climate and energy matters:
• Gabriel Ng (Labor Party)
• Bill Pheasant (Greens)
• Stella Yee (Independent)
• Joshua Utoyo (Libertarian Party)
• Keith Wolahan (Liberal) Invited.
The evening will begin with a brief ‘scene setting’ talk by eminent climate scientist, Professor David Karoly. David is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Melbourne, having retired from CSIRO early in 2022. He is an internationally recognised expert on climate change science and climate variability. He is also a Councillor with the Climate Council.
Arrival from 7.00pm recommended.
