Meraki House Concerts presents Winter Wilson

Dave Wilson is now recognised as one of the UK’s very best contemporary folk songwriters, with his songs sung in folk clubs the world over. He is also a fine guitarist, banjo player and singer.

Kip Winter “simply has a voice to die for” (John Roffee, Maverick Magazine). She is equally at home singing contemporary folk, traditional Gaelic songs and blues and also plays piano accordion, flute and guitar.

Together, the couple produce a unique sound, blending truly stunning harmonies with subtle, skilful musicianship. Their songs are beautiful, though often hard-hitting, and are always delivered with passion.

Kip and Dave are a couple in life as well as on stage and it shows. Their easy personal rapport translates to a relaxed, self-effacing stage presence, where the audience is invited to join, not only in the songs, but also in the jokes and stories in between.
