MERC Quiz Night

We’ve got a feeling the MERC crowd won’t shy away from a bit of competition, so this Quiz Night should be right up your alley. 🚒

As one of the chosen charity partners for the Mining Emergency Response Competition 2026, Blue Tree Project is getting the MERC community together for a different kind of team challenge before the big one at Langley Park!

Trade the PPE for a pen, swap the scenarios for trivia and rally your mates to put that teamwork to use around the quiz table.

Expect plenty of laughs, questionable answers, cash and prizes, plus a few mini challenges to keep those response times sharp. 👀

We’ll also hand the mic over to Blue Tree Project Training Manager, Counsellor and MHFA Facilitator Simon Comerford for a chat about the emergencies that aren’t always as easy to spot, and being there for a mate when the signs aren’t so obvious.
