Travel instructions
Via Bus: closest bus stop is 382 corner of Schotters Road and Hayes Road. Via Train: exit Mernda Train station onto Schotters Road side, left turn and walk up Schotters Road 600 meters, right turn into Heals Road walk along for 25 meters and Mernda Community House is the first building on the left. Via Car: From the south of Melbourne, travel up Plenty road, right turn into Bridge road, left turn to Schotters Road and right turn into Heals road, house is first building on the left. Free parking on both sides of the road.
Entry instructions
There is one wooden entrance via the front of the Mernda Community House. Follow the paved pathway through the right side gate. You will be welcomed by our at our registration table and they will direct you to your booked repairer.
After entry instructions
Turning left there is an accessible ramp to go into the main building for sewing repairs and to the toilet, for other repairs entry is via the outside side gate on the right of the building. The gate will swing inwards and a pathway will lead you to the outdoor repair spaces of bike and other repairer tables.
Hazards
The back area is covered in timber mulch, so ground is uneven. Please note the areas and rooms of Repairers are flat and outdoor spaces are concreted. All electrical wires will be taped down to avoid trip hazards.
Toilet location
Accessible toilet is located in the Mernda Community House; two entry options. 1. Via the ramp entry to the front door of the Community house, though to the main meeting and left door before the exit door. 2. Enter via the back stairs at the back of the Mernda Community House, toilet is the first door on the right as you enter the centre.
Accessible parking
One space for accessible parking out the front of the Mernda Community House.
