18 November - Circus Skills workshop at Circus Spot - Adult ticket
This session will explore various circus skills with an introduction to Aerials including Trapeze, Tissu & Aerial Hoop, along with beginner tumbling. We will also have a child's class for kids aged between 18 months - 5 years, as well as childcare support. Please register your child separately. This class will take place at Circus Spot, 31 Essex Street, Pascoe Vale. Please arrive at 11.15, for an 11.30 start. *Please be aware there is limited capacity for this session. If you cannot make the session please inform us of your absence by texting or calling 0449 631 807. *Instructors are male.

16 December - Jewellery Making with Minna - Adult ticket
Come along to learn, experiment, design and create your own beaded necklace. Minna Loft will teach you some basic beading techniques. During her Fine Arts degree Minna took a study exchange to India where she learnt traditional beading from her teacher Sitabhen Chowda. She's bringing that knowledge to Fawkner, and you'll leave with a necklace you've made yourself. What to know: -No experience needed, beginners welcome -All materials provided -Gold coin contribution appreciated -Childcare is available. (Please register young children separately using the children's ticket.) We'd love to see you there!

20 January - Sewing with Shaheda - Adult ticket
Scrunchie making workshop with Shaheda Sidat. Come along to practice/learn some basic sewing skills and make your own scrunchie. What to expect: -sewing machines are provided (shared amongst the group) -threads and some fabrics will be supplied -sewing needles will be supplied if you prefer hand sewing What to bring: -Some fabric you'd like to use (natural woven fibres work best) -If you have fabric scissors please bring them -No experience needed, beginners welcome Childcare & children's attendance: During school holidays we welcome all children. Those aged 10 and older are welcome to join the sewing activity, provided they are supervised by a parent. -Free childcare is available for other children. Please ensure you register them separately using the "Children's Ticket" option. We'd love to see you there!
