Join Hunter Local Land Services for a paddock tour of local canola, cereal, and faba bean crops, and hear from industry experts from NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and local agronomists.
Speakers and topics include:
Canola and pulse crop update - DPIRD research agronomist, Kathi Hertel.
Crop disease management - Dr Steven Simpfendorfer, DPIRD pathologist.
Local cropping system opportunities and challenges for the current season – Tim Sawley, Nutrien Ag Solutions.
Pasture Dieback in tropical C4 grasses in the Hunter – what to look for and management strategies.
