CPSN Metro Train & Movie Adventure for Young People
Event description
Join us for an exciting day out in Melbourne for 15 - 30 year olds with Cerebral PalsyÂ
We'll start with a private Metro trains travel training to help you navigate the city with ease. Afterward, enjoy free snacks while watching "Out of My Mind." (PG) - a film about a teen with Cerebral Palsy! Come learn, relax, make new friends.Â
- 10.30am - 12.30pm: Metro trains travel training session at Flinders St Station
- 12.30pm - 1.30 pm: Lunch (bring your own or buy food at the Melbourne Central Food Court)
- 2.00pm - 4.30pm: Movie screening at Victoria University City Tower (Little Lonsdale St)
All expenses are covered except for a MyKi card and MyKi Money/Pass/Credit to go on the train and money to grab yourself lunch at the Melbourne Central food court or bring your own lunch.

Who is this event for?
- Young people age 15-30 year olds with Cerebral Palsy and other similar disabilitiesÂ
- Interested in building confidence travelling on Metro Trains
- Looking to meet new people and make social connections
Tickets and registration
Registrations are open now until 10 Jan or when allocation is exhausted (limited to 20 people* not including support workers). Join us for either the Metro Trains or Movie Screening only OR make a day of it and do both! Select the tickets accordingly.
Support assistance
CPSN will be providing two support workers on the day to support the group. But it recommended to bring your own support person if possible.
