Metro Trains Info Session - Making the most of free travel during Seniors Festival

The Metro Trains info session will run from the Diamond Valley Library on the first day of the Seniors Month, Thursday 1 October.

Victorian Seniors Card holders can access 9 days of free public transport across Victoria from 3 to 11 October 2026. This is an opportunity to learn more about the network, build your confidence using trains and to make the most of free transport and Senior Festival activities in the city and beyond.

This session will be presented by a Metro Trains education officer and will cover a range of information on how to catch the train, ticketing, Myki's, senior discounts, timetables, support offered to older and disabled people, role of Protective Service Officers, new stations, how to stay safe.

Morning tea from 9.45am, Metro Train talk at 10.15am.
