Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra - MetSO Gala - 2025

An intimate showcase of Western Australia’s brightest young talents and a celebration of Community Arts at its best. Featuring sensational MetSO Young Artists: Kyle Garces (baritone), Audrey Jarvis (violin), Beth Redwood (soprano) and Alexander Chua (piano);
as well as special guest soloist, MetSO Conductor and world-renowned violinist Ronald Thomas AM. with the participation of acclaimed concert pianist Lydia Lai.

There will also be performances by our friends the Echoes of Ukraine Choir as well as the MetSO Orchestra and Chamber Ensembles conducted by MetSO Distinguished Conductor Bruce Herriman, Hannah Herriman & Ronald Thomas AM.

This time we are also thrilled to present combined performances with our MISO - MetSO Intermediate String Orchestra, and our Avanti Beginner Strings Ensemble, who are very excited to perform before our Patron.

Our proceedings will also include special announcements of our City of Stirling MetSO Young Artists for 2025, MetSO Life Members, and our new City of Stirling MetSO Artists. Not to be missed!

A wonderful program of old favourites and new works including a special arrangement by our very own Concertmaster Ben Clapton of his fantastic "Karrinyup Fanfare" for our MetSO Wind Soloists, MetSO Brass, Mendelssohn and more..

Doors open at 2:30pm, with concert commencing at 3pm.
