Mexican-American Christmas in July Feast in Sydney

My name is Nancy and I'm a 31 year old Mexican-American and founder of Mexican Homefood. I just got back to Sydney recently and am already missing the authentic Mexican food from home. I was overwhelmed by the amount of interest in Sydney for authentic Mexican food so decided to kill two birds with one stone and host a Mexican-American Xmas in July feas for us all so we can meet new friends and enjoy yummy food during this cold winter! I'll be cooking up a storm in the kitchen making tamales, pozole, turkey, mashed potatoes, roast veggies, and ponche con piquete (the yummy Mexican version of mulled wine)! It should be a lot of fun. It'll be in Newtown and I'm just looking for people to pitch in enough to cover the cost of ingredients and my labour of love so I decided to throw this into humanitix so that it saves me time and hassle!
