    Have you ever wondered how Mexicans perceive Melbourne? If you assume they might be cold and are missing their food, find out whether that thought is true or accurate.
    Simultaneously learn more about Mexico and about Melbourne from the comfort of your couch. Learn from a born and raised Mexican and be prepared to be surprised!

    What will we cover?

    In this class we will cover: 

    - First impressions when arriving in Melbourne.
    - What do Mexicans think about Australian beaches, rivers and roads?
    - How do Mexicans know where to find the ingredients to cook Mexican food?
    - Where do they buy food? 
    - Which restaurants would a Mexican recommend to you?
    - Why will most of the Mexicans frown upon congratulating them for 5 de Mayo?
    - What is Mexicans National Day? Do they celebrate it in Melbourne?
    - Is Day of the Dead genuinely Mexican? Is it the same as Halloween?
    - How do I meet more Mexicans in Australia?

    What should I bring?

    - Curiosity and willingness to learn more about Mexicans in Australia
    - A sentence you want to translate to Spanish

    Who will be teaching?

    Mexican-born Elena Osalde has been living in Melbourne for the last 12 years. She was born and raised in Mexico City with a deep interest in global awareness. 

    She holds a Bachelor in Science, an MBA and many certificates in culture and performing arts awarded in Mexico and Australia.

    Not all Mexicans are the same, but they all share a joy for life, a friendly nature and a natural flair for fun.
