MFF2027 Wellness: Sound Bath With Paige Jones

Part of Manchester Folk Festival 2027. This event will take place in Victoria Wood Hall within the Hallé St Peter's building.

Please bring your own yoga mat to the session. If you do not have a yoga mat, please bring at least a towel or blanket to provide some light cushioning.

Hi, I’m Paige. A certified Yoga instructor, Barre instructor, and Sound Practitioner.

My movement journey started training as a contemporary dancer, through this training I learnt how much more the body was capable off, than I could see on the surface. My love for dance comes from my love to move my body which brings me joy, peace, creativity, and freedom.

My yoga journey has helped me understand the difference between movement and stillness and the power they both hold. Whilst showing me the ways a mindfulness practice can enhance my daily life and improve my mental wellbeing.

Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that I fell in love with as a meditation, allowing the body to completely reset, drop into a deep relaxation, improve your sleep, boost your nervous system, and overall improve your mental wellbeing through the power of sound.

My mission is to help you improve your mental wellbeing by incorporating movement and mindfulness into your everyday lives. Working alongside your own capabilities and interests.

Age restrictions: 18+

Access info: the venue has three floors (Basement, Ground Floor, First Floor). Each floor has level access and can be accessed via staircase or a wheelchair accessible passenger lift.
