In Woi Wurrung, ganbu marra means “one mob”, a concept unifying this spectacular collection styled by proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander model and M/FW First Nations Creative Director Lindyn Rowland.
Held amid the grandeur of the NGV’s Gandel Hall, the runway explores a world of high contrast, where raw street realism unfiltered storytelling, where the concrete meets the divine, and sovereign luxury clashes with urban survival.
With striking silhouettes and unapologetic self-expression, this is a celebration of cultural pride and contemporary fashion that shapes Melbourne / narrm of today.
Following the show, celebrate First Nations creativity and the opening of Melbourne Fashion Week with beverages and canapes on the runway.
