Marriage Weekend with Brett & Kate Ryan

We are inviting all married (and soon-to-be married) couples to invest some significant time into your marriages with an amazing two-day event.

​About our guests:

Our guests will be Brett & Kate Ryan. 

They have a nation-wide following with their radio programming and podcast.  This is a highly qualified couple who will speak well into our family settings.

Brett was a Critical Care nurse for 15 years with majors in Accident and Emergency and Intensive Care.

He then became the Children’s Pastor at CityLife Church Melbourne for the next 12 years before commencing his role as CEO at Focus on the Family Australia in 2013. 

Kate was a teacher for 25 years, in both primary and secondary school.  She was a sports coordinator and specialized in gifted children and special needs.  Kate left teaching to support Brett and the ministry. They are passionate about God-honouring marriages and families.

They have been married for 34 years and have 3 young men, 3 beautiful daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren.  They love spending time with their family, all sports and playing board games.  Brett’s aim is to complete a Sudoku without looking up the answers.  

Additional Info & Registration:

• This will be a fully catered event beginning with Friday dinner.
• Start times are 6pm Friday and 9am Saturday
• It will be space for couples only. 
• Engaged couples encouraged to sign up also
• A kid’s space will be provided to reduce the need for babysitting or prevent anyone from being there.
• Cost is $120 per couple.  You do not need to pay up front - we simply need regos to understand numbers for catering.  You can direct debit your payment to the church in a time that suits you BEFORE the event commences.
• The venue will be the church auditorium
