Meet Grapeviner Mums for a Relaxed Morning Walk
Looking to meet other mums, enjoy some fresh air, and take a break from the daily routine? Join me and your other mums from the Mum’s Grapevine groups for a relaxed morning walk around Jells Park Lake.
Whether you’re expecting, have a baby in tow, or chasing after a toddler, this is a chance to connect with like-minded women and make new mum friends in a warm and welcoming space.
The park is mum-friendly, with free parking, a café onsite, drinking fountains, and toilets with changing tables. The wide, pram-friendly paths (mostly sealed, some parts gravel) make it easy to stroll, and there are plenty of shady spots and seating for breastfeeding or just taking a break.
We’ll keep it slow and easy around the lake, stopping at the bird hut for little ones to hop out of the pram and stretch their legs. After about an hour, we’ll finish at the HUGE nature playground and picnic area, where you can grab a coffee and get to know each other better.

FAQ's
Why do I have to donate $10?
As part of our 2025 Victorian charity partnership, we’re collecting a $10 donation per adult attending our walks. This helps Our Village (formerly St Kilda Mums) clean and repair all the denoted baby and kids’ essentials they receive so they are ready to be rehomed to families in need. This is optional but greatly appreciated.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the conservation area of Jells Park where we will be walking.
What happens in extreme weather?
We’ll go ahead unless the weather is extreme or unsafe. If we need to cancel or reschedule, we’ll send an update via email.
