MHFA Refresher
Event description
A standard (adult) MHFA refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed a full standard (adult) MHFA training course and accreditation assessment and are seeking to refresh their knowledge and skills and maintain their MHFAider accreditation.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for a standard (adult) MHFA refresher course, you must have completed a full standard (adult) MHFA course (including the online accreditation assessment) within the last three years.
Purpose:
The refresher course allows you to revisit and update your standard (adult) MHFA skills, ensuring you remain competent and confident in providing mental health first aid.
Accreditation:
Completing the standard (adult) refresher course allows you to renew your MHFA accreditation, which typically lasts for three years.
Target Audience:
The refresher course is specifically designed for current and accredited MHFAiders who want to maintain their accreditation and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Cost:
$25/ person- this is heavily subsidized through the Greater Whitsunday Care Alliance.
