Event description

Take this opportunity to learn and become certified in supporting people in our community around their mental health needs and wellbeing.

During times of crisis and natural disasters, we know that our mental health suffers in our community.

This free and accredited 2-day community training opportunity will give participants the tools to better recognise and respond to mental health challenges during times of flood, fire and crisis.

Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health challenges, how to recognise and respond to an emerging or worsening mental health challenge, and the treatments and supports available to people in your area and online.

Spots limited! Registration required. Attendance on both days is required for course qualification.

This 2-day course is suitable for people over 18, community members and service workers. Meals and refreshments will be provided for both days.
