Mayoral Heritage Morning Tea 2026 - Circles of Gratitude

Join us for Maryborough's 2026 Mayoral Heritage Morning Tea at the Brolga Theatre and Convention Centre. This year's visual theme, Circles of Gratitude, celebrates community, belonging, generations connected over time and appreciation for the people who have helped shape Maryborough.

The morning is designed around relaxed conversation and connection, with live entertainment by Harry Simpson and Mansong and a special musical surprise. Sandwiches, cakes and slices will be served to guests at their tables by Maryborough State High School Hospitality Students.

A $2 raffle will run during the morning, with multiple prizes drawn at different stages.

This is a free event, but bookings are essential. Doors open at 9:00am for seating, refreshments and conversation. The official program begins at 10:00am.

Accessible seating and group bookings are available for nursing-home residents and carers. Every person attending, including each carer, must be included in the booking.

Please provide mobility, seating, dietary and support information during registration so suitable arrangements can be made.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. Accessible seating, mobility-aid spaces and seating with carers can be arranged. Guests may participate while seated, and assistance can be provided at check-in and throughout the event. Please include your requirements when booking or contact MADCOTA before the event.
