Michael Gordon - Masters Recital

Michael Gordon is a jazz saxophonist and composer who graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2012. He has performed widely at major venues and festivals throughout Australia and Asia. Michael's albums have been featured on RNZ and ABC Jazz radio stations and have received reviews in The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald newspapers. 

Michael is studying the music and saxophone style of Charlie Parker. He will perform a varied program of jazz that includes bebop, swing, latin-jazz and ballads. Michael will be accompanied by George Maclaurin on piano, Ciaran Kingi-Booth on double bass and Barnaby Maude on drums.
