Event description
Michigan Wine Exploration Class Featuring the Fennville AVA – Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 6- 8 p.m. Class 2 of 6. Join us for one or all six!
Experience 10 guided tastings of Michigan’s Fennville American Viticulture Area (AVA)! Fennville was the third AVA established in the United States and the first in the State of Michigan dating back to 1981. Located on the west side of Michigan, Fennville AVA borders Lake Michigan, the Kalamazoo River, a game reserve and the Black River. Some of the Fennville wineries have achieved organic certification and most boast both cold-hardy grape varietals as well as some warmer weather grapes resulting in a wide range of wine options. Each Sommelier guided tasting will include a perfectly paired charcuterie! Bring a date, the love or your life or friends and have a great evening “portaling” to the Fennville AVA on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are just $30 per person and include 10 perfectly paired wine tastings and class.
