Welcome to ARTD and friends' online learning sessions. These Friday
lunchtime sessions are open to anyone interested in these topics to
join. These sessions will be highly interactive, with a 20 minute
presentation, and 40 minutes for small group or open discussion.
Friday Afternoon Think: Micro-credentials as the way forward in training in the disability sector
This presentation will discuss micro-credentials as a strategy for rapid upskilling in the disability sector. Specifically, we will discuss the methodology and outcomes of an evaluation of the development and trialling of a micro-credential training program in positive behaviour support and restrictive practices.

Victoria Visser is the Director of strategic insights consultancy The Science of Knowing. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the research and evaluation field, with demonstrated success of working with government, NGOs and private organisations to conduct research that makes a difference in people’s lives. Victoria specialises in research in the health, social services and public service sectors.
