Event description

Join your guides Robin Rowland and Jutta Godwin for a microbat discovery walk at Minnippi Parklands, Carina. Learn about microbats and their needs whilst listening out for our insectivorous neighbours. Details are as follows:

  •   9th April 2024, 6:00pm
  • Minnippi Parklands, Carina/Tingalpa
  • Meeting Point: carpark via parklands entry on Kate Street, Carina

Please wear enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle and torch.

We are grateful to Titley Scientific for their generous loan of bat detecting equipment which will allow us to ‘listen in’ on the echolocation calls of microbats and experience them visually via sonagrams.
