Event description

Join your guides for a microbat discovery walk at Kalinga Park. Learn about microbats and their needs whilst listening out for our insectivorous neighbours. Details are as follows:

  • 13th April 2024, 6:00pm
  • Kalinga Park, Kalinga
  • Meeting Point: Park entry at the end of Park Avenue, Kalinga


Please wear enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle and torch.

We are grateful to Titley Scientific for their generous loan of bat detecting equipment which will allow us to ‘listen in’ on the echolocation calls of microbats and experience them visually via sonagrams.
