Event description

POSTPONED due to unfavourable weather conditions. WE WILL ANNOUNCE A NEW DATE as soon as decided. 

Join your guides Robin Rowland and Jutta Godwin for a microbat discovery walk at Mookin-Bah Reserve. Learn about microbats and their needs whilst listening out for our insectivorous nightly neighbours. Details are as follows:

  • 6th April 2024, 6:00pm
  • Mookin-Bah Reserve, Wakerley
  • Meeting Point: off Whites Road, Wakerley

    • Please wear enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle and torch.

      We are grateful to Titley Scientific for their generous loan of bat detecting equipment which will allow us to ‘listen in’ on the echolocation calls of microbats and experience them visually via sonagrams.
