    Event description

Join fauna ecologist Narawan Williams to learn all about the wonderful and mysterious world of microbats.

Three threatened species of microbat have been reported in the Waverley area, but little is known about where they roost. Narawan will be conducting surveys for Council to get a better understanding of the local habitat used by microbats.

Learn about where different species live, what they eat and how they hunt.

Narawan will lead us on a dusk walk to spot microbats as they come out to hunt insects.

You will also learn how to support microbats in your own garden.

*Bring along a good torch to help spot the microbats.
