Overview

This advanced Microsoft Project course expands on the core skills developed in introductory project management training. Participants will learn how to manage and work with project files more effectively, create links between projects and supporting documents, generate professional reports and printed outputs, streamline and reduce project complexity, share resources across multiple projects, and automate repetitive tasks using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within Microsoft Project.

Audience

This course is intended for Microsoft Project users who are ready to progress beyond the management of simple project plans. It is especially beneficial for individuals responsible for coordinating multiple projects, sharing resources across project schedules, and producing comprehensive project reports for stakeholders and management.

Prerequisites

 Before attending this course, participants should have completed a Microsoft Project Essentials course or possess equivalent practical experience. Learners are expected to be comfortable creating and managing basic project schedules in Microsoft Project, including adding tasks and resources, addressing resource allocation issues, and navigating different project views. A sound understanding of file and folder management within a Windows operating system environment is also recommended.
