Support your peri and post-menopause clients

Discover why menopause is more than hormones. It is a whole body transformation and a window of opportunity to support your client’s long term health.

This dynamic workshop for shiatsu practitioners combines biopsychosocial understanding of menopause with embodiment practices and Japanese treatment strategies rarely taught in Australia.

The workshop will cover:

  • Definition of peri-menopause through to post-menopause

  • An introduction to menopause through a biopsychosocial and East Asian Medicine lens.

  • Reframing menopause as "Second Spring" - a portal of opportunity

  • When and who to refer to (including red flags)

  • Japanese techniques: middle pulse, Extraordinary Vessels, sinew channels and moxa

  • Therapeutic Dao Yin movement practices you can implement straight away.

  • Build confidence working with midlife female clients
