Midweek Matters: Asthma and Older Women
Description
As we age, managing our health becomes key to maintaining our independence and quality of life, yet many people are surprised to learn that asthma can hit women hardest in later life.
Join us for an empowering and practical session exploring why asthma affects women differently as they age and what you can do to manage it effectively. Presented by Diane Percy, Health Program Officer at Asthma Australia, alongside a Local Pharmacist, this session will cover the latest in asthma and hay fever management, including five practical steps you can take this month to protect your respiratory health.
You will gain hands-on knowledge on getting the most from your inhalers, practice essential Asthma First Aid and breathing techniques and learn how Asthma Australia can support you. Whether you live with asthma yourself, care for someone who does or simply want to stay proactive about your lung health, come along to gain practical tools, ask your questions during our Q&A and connect over afternoon tea.
