If you answered 'yes' to any of the above, then this event is a must see for you!

The Second Annual Michigan History Author Symposium is being held at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum on Saturday, September 27th from 1-4 PM. Tickets are just $5, and go to support the museum.

At this event we invite history authors from all over the state to present stories, answer questions and sign books for this exclusive afternoon! Readers will love this event, as there are opporunities to find new authors and get signed books. One author is coming this year from the U.P.! Others are coming from Detroit, Jackson, Lansing, Traverse City, Fenton and many other places in Michigan! They all have one thing in common, they write about Michigan history, from beer to music, and true crime to historical fiction.

You will love the stories they have to tell!

This year we have over a dozen authors confirmed for this event, including: Allie Siebert, Judy Gail Krasnow, Sonya Hollins, Patti Smith, Michael Delaware, Jim Jackson, Janyre Tromp, Tom Carr, B.R. Bates, Peggy Grigowski, Mikel B. Classen, Dr, Gerald Cliff and Maurice Imhoff!

There will also be representatives from the Eaton County Historical Commission and the Battle Creek Historical Society presents selling special edition history books.

This event is a must see for lovers of reading!

Tickets for the event are just $5, and all proceeds go to support the Battle Creek Regional History Museum. This year there will also be the Battle Creek Historical Society and the Eaton County Historical Commission present selling history books as well. There are a lot of opportunities for fans to meet authors, as well as aspiring writers to get tips from published authors. Mark your calendar and get your tickets early, as this is a popular event!
