Mike Anderson Trio

Mike Anderson is a professional guitarist and music educator based in Brisbane. He returns to JMI Live in trio format, being joined by Nick Quigley (bass) and Aaron Jansz (drums). The trio will explore some of Mike's old and new compositions, as well as some lesser known jazz standards and compositions from some greats past and present.

Forever a student of the guitar, Mike has developed his own unique musical voice on the instrument and forged a reputation as one of the hardest working musicians in Brisbane. Passionate about jazz and music education, Mike is currently on faculty at JMI and is regularly performing around SE Queensland in various formats and styles.
