Mike Compton is a master of American mandolin. He has played with Elvis Costello, Sting, Doc Watson, Dolly Parton, John Hartford and Willy Nelson to name a few.
Mike was instrumental in fashioning the authentic traditional musical styles of the film Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.
In his signature silk tie and overalls, he is an engaging, warm and highly entertaining performer.
Mike is joined by Australian luthier and mandolinist Paul Duff and the two will deliver a preamble to their show which takes audiences on a historical journey across the musical landscape forged by the legendary Bill Monroe.
