Millennial Men of Manly
Event description
Millennial Men of Manly
Good mates. No dramas.
This is a super casual, community-driven group for local blokes (late 20s to early 40s) keen to connect, get moving, and have a decent chat — without any pressure or weird vibes.
It’s not a mental health group — but it is about creating space for good mates to talk about whatever’s on their mind… or nothing at all.
Please reach out if you have have any questions on the group before joining: Chuck @ 0428 503 221
How it works (for now)
Fortnightly Friday Morning Beach Walks — 6:00 am - 7:30 am
Meet outside The Steyne, Manly (Corso entrance) and then...
→ Walk to Queenscliff to Shelly and back to Corso
→ A quick swim in the ocean after the walk is always encouraged
→ Coffee after at Wolfies
Stay for the whole thing, just the walk, just the swim, or just the coffee — totally up to you. No pressure. No commitment. Just show up when you feel like it.
Why?
- Because meeting new mates as an adult bloke can be hard.
- Because starting your Friday with a sunrise walk, a swim, and a coffee is pretty bloody good for the soul.
- Because sometimes the best conversations happen while walking side by side, not sitting face to face.
The Rules Are Pretty Simple:
→ Don’t be a creep. Don’t be a jerk.
If you wouldn’t say it toyour mum oryour boss — don’t say it here.
→ Don’t be a dick to people who are different to you.
Different is good. Respect is non-negotiable.
What’s next?
For now, we’re keeping it simple with Friday morning walks. If things pick up and the group grows, we’ll look at other casual catch-ups like arvo beers, pub hangs, or whatever else feels right.
Cost?
$0. Always free. Always community-focused.
Come for the walk. Stay for the swim. Hang for a coffee.
Whatever works for you.
Good mates. No dramas.
