Millennials (AGE 25-39) Speed Dating (Wellington)

What to expect:

Doors swing open at 6:45 pm, and our friendly hosts will be there to greet you with a smile and get you checked in. 

We've got your back when it comes to meeting new people. You'll be joining a lively crowd of 30-40 fellow singles, all ready to mix and mingle. Our hosts work their magic behind the scenes, managing ticket sales to keep the gender balance just right.

And hey, that first-date nerves quencher? It's on us! Your ticket includes a free drink from the bar, so you can start the night off right. (non-alcoholic options are also available)

Event structure: 

• You’ll start the night with a series of small group discussions, before moving into the more traditional series of 1-on-1 conversations that you’d expect at a speed dating event.
• Each table includes a set of witty and thought-provoking cue cards to aid in meaningful conversation. 
• You will have around 10 mini-dates during the event, each about 6 minutes long.

We've prioritized quality over quantity for your speed dating experience. With up to 20 of each gender, you might not get a structured mini-date with everyone, but don't worry! We've mixed in plenty of free mingling time throughout the night. So if you spot someone interesting, you'll have the chance to strike up a conversation.

Matchmaking:

As you go, fill out your match card, and take note of who you want to see again.

The following day, we’ll email you a link to our online matchmaking system, where you can select who you want to match with!

Daters have 24 hours after receiving this to complete the form, and then we’ll be in touch to let you know your mutual matches.

Please note: 
There are no door sales, so please purchase your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment. 
The dress code is dress to impress: Wear something that shows off your personality! If you're not too sure, smart-casual is a safe bet. 

*If the event shows as sold out for your gender, please join our waitlist. Our hosts control ticket sales to manage the gender balance and will periodically release more tickets.
