Millthorpe comes alive each August as it hosts the Opening Night of the Orange Region Fire Festival. Join us on Friday 7 August for an unforgettable evening of mid-winter magic, where fire pits glow, live music fills the streets, and the village buzzes with community spirit under a crisp winter sky.

Wander through the festival and enjoy the best of the region with local food vendors, wineries, boutique businesses, artisan producers and winter-inspired treats. Catch up with family and friends beside the fire, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening.

Perfect for all ages, the event also features children’s entertainment including rides, games, face painting, acrobatic performers and more.
