Mimi Wong x Refettorio 'Guest Chef at the Ref' Dinner | Thursday 18th September, 2025

We are so excited to be welcoming the amazing Mimi Wong to takeover the Refettorio kitchen, for a special ‘Guest Chef at the Ref’ Dinner this September!

High school teacher turned MasterChef-alum; Mimi Wong transforms her passion for Cantonese cooking into culinary artistry. Born in Hong Kong, raised by her beloved Ah Por in humble housing, Mimi learned traditional techniques while absorbing the philosophy of nurturing through food. Now based in Sydney, she bridges heritage with innovation, specializing in Asian fusion and dreaming of her own restaurant featuring rotating Cantonese-influenced specials.

Mimi believes food is the universal language that connects generations, cultures, and hearts - where tradition meets innovation to nourish both body and soul. This ethos will be celebrated in her unique three course menu plus snack, which will be curated using OzHarvest rescued ingredients.

This is your opportunity to have a feel-good fine dining experience and support your local community at the same time! Each ticket sold, allows Refettorio OzHarvest to serve at least 6 people in need a nourishing 3 course meal during our daytime service.

Tickets purchased in a single transaction will be considered one booking, and guests will be seated together.
To ensure that everyone gets access to Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney – bookings will be limited to 10 seats.
