Like any medicine, psychedelics have the potential to foster healing and, if misused, they have the potential to cause serious harm. In this fascinating webinar, we will explore the Nature and many forms of individual and collective shadow associated with all kinds of psychedelic usage.

We will explore what happens when:

• people act out their repressed and unconscious emotional and sexual needs
• separation, judgement and drama become the currency of experience
• psychedelics are used for financial dominance and power
• healing and spiritual awakening is defined by entitlement and perfection
• we ignore the Indigenous cultures, elders and spiritual traditions that hold the wisdom of thousands of years of psychedelic usage
• we act without the necessary care and appreciation for the power of these medicines

Psychedelics reveal our shadow to us, opening opportunities for us to see and feel what happens when we do not fully accept full responsibility for our lives, when we unwittingly believe or act out the dark side of human nature. But they also can teach us how to dance our dualities. They open pathways for us to transform our inner monsters born of struggle, trauma, and shame, into powerful, loving allies. But this is not an easy process or quick fix. 

We will explore the many techniques and experiential modalities that can support the integration of the shadow and the primary conditions that support embracing our wholeness.

Namae Ntumae is the Founder & Director of CWays Home, an Oregon based animistic, non-profit organization that spans the United States. Its core mission is to create experiences for people to come home to themselves, to each other and with the Earth. Namae has over 30 years of experience in Australia and America with altered states of consciousness, involving plant medicines, herbs, shamanic breathwork, sacred sexuality, indigenous and mystical spiritual lineages, and experiential transformative modalities. Her background in environmental biology, biomimicry and management consultancy reflects her deep love and care for our only life support system, this Earth. 

She designed and teaches an intense, 3-year experiential training program for facilitators working with non-ordinary states of awareness and psychedelics, as well as educational programs for the promotion of loving consciousness guides, therapists and researchers using plant medicines. Her work holds love as the core condition necessary for effective transformational change, in direct relationship with Nature’s intelligence.

Psychedelic-assisted treatments offer enormous potential in providing a meaningful alternative to current treatments for mental illness.
