Combining creativity with mindfulness journaling is a powerful way to ground

yourself in the present moment while expressing creativity.

Beginners and all levels of creative souls are welcome!

In this monthly workshop we will use various textures, materials, and techniques with different

art mediums to reflect your thoughts, emotions, and inspirations.

We will explore intuitiveness, reflection, sensory engagement and symbolism

to learn how to express our thoughts, strengthen our critical thinking

skills and make our souls happy.

All supplies will be provided.Class seating is limited, and pre-registration is required to save your

workspace and have supplies available to all.

Registration closes one week before each workshop day.

How to Incorporate Mindfulness into Your Creative Journal

1. Intuitive Art-Making – Let go of perfection. Use colors, textures, and

shapes based on how you feel in the moment, without overthinking.

2. Layering for Reflection – Layering different mediums (paint, collage,

ink, fabric, etc.) can symbolize different aspects of an experience or emotion.

3. Affirmations & Quotes – Write or stamp positive affirmations onto pages as daily reminders.

4. Gratitude Pages – Use images, paint, or mixed-media elements to represent things you’re grateful for.

5. Texture & Sensory Engagement – Incorporate elements like fabric, dried flowers, or embossed paper for a tactile experience that brings focus to the present.

6. Meditative Patterns – Doodle repetitive patterns (zentangles, mandalas, or organic shapes) as a form of meditation.

7. Collage & Symbolism – Choose magazine cutouts, old book pages, or hand-drawn symbols that resonate with your thoughts or emotions.

8. Breath & Brushwork – Sync your brushstrokes with your breath, painting in a slow, mindful rhythm.

9. Nature-Inspired Pages – Press leaves, sketch natural textures, or mix earthy tones to feel more connected to nature.

10. Stream-of-Consciousness Journaling – Write freely, then paint or collage over words to symbolize release or transformation.
