Mindful Monday - Move Through Perfectionism

Perfectionism can keep you stuck. Progress can propel you forward.
Perfectionism is something many of you can probably resonate with and have probably worked through and tried to overcome at one point in your life.
It's something I see so often in my clients and it is heartbreaking to see how much it holds them back from progressing and moving forward in their life. I've seen this reality in my own life too!
Perfectionism tends to come from living in a survivor and critic mindset. A mindset that is fixed and driven from fear. Fear of being judged, criticised, not seen as good enough, smart enough, etc.
Does that sound familiar?
If it does, I have great news - it's not a state you have to keep living in. No matter our state of mindset, we have the choice and power to change it. It doesn't happen overnight, however, with tools and practices it's a journey you can start on.
In this session we are going to:
- Reflect and understand what is driving your perfectionist tendencies
- Talk through tools and practices to shift away from perfectionism
- Write new stories (thought patterns) grounded in who you WANT to be
- Create daily practices to rewire the brain
If you're finding yourself hitting the perfectionist wall all too often, it's important to stop, reflect, and take back control. If perfectionism has its way and it's allowed to run rampant, it can lead to higher levels of stress, overwhelm, anxiety, and burnout.
