MINDFUL MONDAYS

Join Áine for a chance to reset and relax before the craziness of the Christmas Period. You won't regret it!

2nd of December 2024 - 6-8pm, St. Peters National School, Dunboyne.

We will begin in circle with some journalling to allow yourself to get any pressing thoughts off your mind so that you can be fully present.

We will then transition to the mat where Áine will guide you through your breathwork journey. There is the option to receive Reiki during the breathwork.

Tickets to this event will be limited in order to provide a personal and intimate journey.

- Deep Healing Breathwork is a powerful practice that involves a number of breathing techniques to up regulate and then down regulate your nervous system. It's all about using the breath to access and release any emotional, mental or physical blockages in the body. During a session, you will be guided to breathe in a specific pattern, usually deep and full breaths through the mouth without any pauses between the inhale and the exhale. As you continue with the breathwork, you may start to experience various physical sensations, emotions, or memories surfacing. It's like diving deep into your own inner world and allowing whatever needs to come up to be released and transformed. It can be a really profound experience.

- Reiki is a gentle form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan. It involves the practitioner using their hands to channel energy into the patient to promote healing and align the chakras. The term 'Reiki' itself is derived from two Japanese words: 'Rei' meaning universal, and 'Ki', meaning life energy.
