Mindful Watercolour Workshop - Mittagong


Event description

This workshop is time and space for you;

I welcome you to the transformative journey of creative self-discovery.

In this mindful workshop you'll learn the fundmentals of using watercolour with a focus on painting beautiful Australian native leaves.

We'll explore:-

    * Painting with watercolour foundations: Wet in wet (Light & Vivid colours) and Wet on Dry (thicker & darker paint)
    * How to mix colours and utilise the transparency quality of watercolour
    * Understanding light and shadow
    * How to add depth to your work with layering
    * Pulling and pushing pigment - including removing pigment
    * Tips and tricks to have your work pop with fine detail brush work
    * We will explore: bleeding, blooming, splattering and using salt to produce creative effects                                                                                                                                                            * How to avoid muddy colours 

No experience required and all materials will be supplied - including a cheese platter and glass of wine to celebrate your creativity.             This is an open adult workshop with limited numbers to ensure individual support. 

My wish for you is that this inner peace and creative liberation extend far beyond the workshop; your job is to simple show up with an open heart.
