In this mindful workshop you'll learn the fundamentals of using watercolour with a focus on painting beautiful Australian native leaves.
As daylight saving will have just kicked in, enjoy an evening of light and delight exploring layers with watercolours. We'll be ending the creative session with cheese and a beverage to make the seasonal shifts as well as your creative endeavours.

We'll explore:-
* Painting with watercolour foundations: Wet in wet (Light & Vivid colours) and Wet on Dry (thicker & darker paint)
* How to mix colours and utilise the transparency quality of watercolour
* Understanding light and shadow
* How to add depth to your work with layering
* Pulling and pushing pigment - including removing pigment
* Tips and tricks to have your work pop with fine detail brush work
* We will explore: bleeding, blooming, splattering and using salt to produce creative effects * How to avoid muddy colours
No experience required and all materials will be supplied - including nibbles.
This is an adult workshop with limited numbers to ensure individual support.
