Join us for this one hour nurturing Yoga and Mindfulness class designed for Teens and Young Adults to help relax. Mentally and physically - with thanks to the City of Fremantle.

Classes will be held live on Zoom on Wednesdays throughout February: 3, 10, 17, 24 from  5pm - 6pm and additionally live @ PCYC Fremantle, pending COVID-19 restrictions. You'll get an email with details on the class access/location on the day before the class. 

Online participation via Zoom available.

The 60minutes will include:

  • Breathing exercises to help you with stress and anxiety at school or at home 
  • Mindfulness Practices to help you stay focused and calm your mind
  • Very gentle Mindful Movement (Yoga) to enhance physical fitness, flexibility and strength suitable for complete beginners!
  • Relaxation as a platform for self-care and to destress

Suitable for ages 13+

This course will teach Adolescents and Young Adults basic mindful movement, yoga postures and sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and simple meditation practice to support physical and mental Health and Wellbeing.

Participants are encouraged to practice at home and at school using yoga and mindfulness techniques to stay calm and focused.

During the course, we will also discuss healthy perspective on mental health and issues that teens often face such as school stress, anxiety, healthy lifestyles, body image and relationships.

We do provide cleaned and disinfected mats. However, we encourage you to bring your own if you've got any available due to COVID-19. 

>> With enrolling you agree to a full term of 4 classes. Attendance of ALL four classes is essential to reap the benefits mentally and physically and support a trusting class environment.

This class is facilitated by a qualified Yoga Instructor/Educator of Yogazeit Ltd. - a Fremantle based Not for Profit Organisation offering Wellbeing Programs to Youth. 

COVID-19 Health and Safety:

This class is strictly limited in available spots. Please register beforehand! If available: Please bring your own mat or towel, pillow and blanket.

I release the instructor and her agents from any injury or damage to my property that occurs while attending or as a consequence of attending this class. I have reported any and all physical restrictions to the instructor prior to attending this class (via the ticket order form).
