Event description

This Mindful YOGINI workshop is aimed at Tween Girls aged 8 - 12 years of age.

A perfect finish to the end of term and transitioning into summer break, this 2.5 hour workshop is more than your traditional yoga class.

The girls will be gently guided through a variety of yoga movements and breathing exercises. Building their confidence they will start creating their own yoga 'flow' by learning to embody the benefits of movement, stretching and mindfulness.

Working in groups the girls will build on foundations of Resilience, Empathy, Connection and Community - allowing to foster friendship and a sense of Wellbeing through breath and movement.

The Art element of this workshop includes the choice of making your very own plaster mask or creating a Clay artwork. This sensory activity will allow for a connection of body and mind - providing a well rounded mindfulness practice.

Through our evidence based programs, tween girls will not only learn how to support their wellbeing with yoga and mindfulness, improve confidence and resilience, they also feel uplifted and empowered by a culture of kindness and support - the perfect start to the summer break.

Mat and props will be provided. BYO pillow and blanket.

Includes 1 Singing Bowl per registration for your girl to take home. While used to introduce the girls to mindfulness practices (mastering to play the singing bowl and listening to the sound and vibration), Singing Bowls are also said to promote relaxation.

Only 8 spots available for this workshop!
