Event description

Mindfulness + Meditation is for busy minds needing to reduce overwhelm, anxiety and stress responses, enhance a sense of calm, and improve awareness and focus. It is also for those who would benefit from practising self-care, self-compassion, and self-kindness. 

This class is the culmination of 15 years of well-being support experience and the opportunity to research, in-depth, the impacts of anxiety, stress and burnout alongside the mental health benefits of mindfulness and other stress management strategies.

In each class, you will be guided through a meditation with mindfulness practices. Our class space is a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to self-reflect on your practice and insights in ways appropriate for self-work within a small group. 

It is important to understand that this is not a counselling class. It is an opportunity for you to notice your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and consider in what ways you are content or how you may like to approach life experiences differently. 

Registration conditions

  • Registration is by purchasing the number of classes you will attend.
  • Class purchases are non-refundable due to the financial impact on my commitment as a sole trader, including fees associated with class planning, administration, Zoom (online classes), insurance and Meditation Australia registration. 
  • Missed classes are not transferrable beyond 2025. 
  • If you need to withdraw from a paid class you are welcome to self-organise a course transfer to someone you know.
  • Attendance under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs is strictly prohibited.

    Class information

    • Classes are held on the first Sunday of each month.
    • Please be ready online for a 7pm start. If you arrive late, please ensure your microphone is muted. 
    • Please sit upright for class. 
    • Sitting upright during meditation helps the body and mind remain attentive and can prevent drifting into sleepy brain waves. 
    • Wear comfortable clothing and ensure you have what you need to be comfortable in temperature.
