Event description

Date: 11 August 2024

Time: 8 – 10am

Venue: Hobartica

In this experiential workshop, researcher and mindfulness teacher Dr Larissa Bartlett will step you through what mindfulness is, what it isn’t, and how we can cultivate this natural human quality to support our health and wellbeing. Drawing together scientific evidence and ancient contemplative practices, this taster session is an opportunity to try out some mindfulness skills that can help build self-awareness, reduce stress, and live your best life.

Immediately following the one-hour workshop, participants will have exclusive access to the saunas and cold plunge pools.

Please note: Cold water immersion is not recommended for people with heart or circulatory conditions. If you have any concerns about exposure to cold water or saunas based on your individual conditions or medications, always check with your doctor first.
