Minds Like Ours - an ADHD workshop series in Brighton, UK
Description
This six-session workshop series is designed specifically for adults with ADHD who want to learn about their brains and nervous systems, work out how to stop fighting themselves and create change that feels sustainable. It is also an opportunity to connect with other people who share similar brains and experiences in a cosy community cafe.
In a small, supportive group of up to ten people, you'll explore:
Week 1: How your ADHD brain actually works and why so much finally makes sense
Week 2: Time, planning & getting started. Learn practical strategies for the way your brain is wired
Week 3: Emotions & self-worth. Understanding emotional intensity, shame, and how to be kinder to yourself
Week 4: Your nervous system & burnout. Recognising your patterns and learning how to regulate using science-backed tools
Week 5: Relationships & communication. How ADHD shows up with the people around you
Week 6: Building a life that works for you by designing with your brain, not against it
Each session blends psycho education with coaching, so you'll gain understanding and tools you can actually use. This will also be a warm and welcoming space to connect and share with people who understand ADHD from their own lived experience.
Sessions are on Thursdays from 1st October to 12th November 7pm - 9 pm (except 5th November)
£150 for 6 sessions
Refreshments will be provided.
