Mindy Sotiri is a Sydney singer-songwriter situated “somewhere to the east of Ani DiFranco and Suzanne Vega, and occasionally channeling the eminent grumpy old men of folk”. Making music from the mess of everyday life, she is incisive, direct and sometimes hilarious with tunes that always have something to say…delivered with inventive playing and a unique sound. Mim Benson tells stories of love and life, performed with heart in her hauntingly beautiful voice. This will be a night of alt-folk at its hypnotic best.
